Content Marketer Location: Remote
Role: Part time or full time. Contractors welcome. 

Key Activities:
Blogging about books and a variety of topics with ease, e.g., book collecting, wine, law, technology, food, or the Dewey decimal system. Writing compelling emails, white papers or guides. Creating compelling calls to action.

Background:
A successful candidate is a strong writer with an engaging style and impeccable grammar. He or she is excited about technology and can leverage it to support a variety of products. Prior knowledge of blogging platforms and marketing automation is a plus. A willingness to acquire and master such knowledge is essential. 

 

Marketing Intern Location: Remote
Role: Part time

Key Activities:

Utilization of cutting edge marketing software. Blog writing. Social media work. General marketing assistance.

We provide our interns with great training and leading tools. College credit possible.

Background:

A passion for books.

Enjoys working with in a team of talented content managers.

A strong, self-motivated writer.

 

Cataloger Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Role: Part time or full time.

Key Activities:

Cataloging newly acquired inventory.

Grading books, many of them rare, antiquarian, and of high value. Working with bibliographies and standards to accurately present our books in catalogs, our website, and a variety of sales channels.

Assessing individual titles and entire collections and building compelling sales offers.

Background:
A successful candidate is passionate about books. Ideally, he or she has a Master of Library Science or similar degree.

This person can handle both the quantity and quality of our books in a self-paced environment.

He or she has a fluent command of English, and ideally, a working knowledge of one or more additional languages.

He or she can translate formal book cataloging language into exciting content for collectors and special collection librarians.

He or she can network with other booksellers and build a strong network of expertise.
