Books Tell You Why is expanding its team in the following areas:   | **Content Marketer** | **Location: **Remote | | --- | --- | | **Role: **Part time or full time. Contractors welcome.  | | | **Key Activities:** Blogging about books and a variety of topics with ease, e.g., book collecting, wine, law, technology, food, or the Dewey decimal system. Writing compelling emails, white papers or guides. Creating compelling calls to action. | **Background:** A successful candidate is a strong writer with an engaging style and impeccable grammar. He or she is excited about technology and can leverage it to support a variety of products. Prior knowledge of blogging platforms and marketing automation is a plus. A willingness to acquire and master such knowledge is essential.  |   | **Marketing Intern** | **Location: **Remote | | --- | --- | | **Role: **Part time | | | **Key Activities:** Utilization of cutting edge marketing software. Blog writing. Social media work. General marketing assistance. We provide our interns with great training and leading tools. College credit possible. | **Background:** A passion for books. Enjoys working with in a team of talented content managers. A strong, self-motivated writer. |   | **Cataloger** | **Location: **Mount Pleasant, SC | | --- | --- | | **Role: **Part time or full time. | | | **Key Activities:** Cataloging newly acquired inventory. Grading books, many of them rare, antiquarian, and of high value. Working with bibliographies and standards to accurately present our books in catalogs, our website, and a variety of sales channels. Assessing individual titles and entire collections and building compelling sales offers. | **Background:** A successful candidate is passionate about books. Ideally, he or she has a Master of Library Science or similar degree. This person can handle both the quantity and quality of our books in a self-paced environment. He or she has a fluent command of English, and ideally, a working knowledge of one or more additional languages. He or she can translate formal book cataloging language into exciting content for collectors and special collection librarians.
